Every Christmas Eve in the center of Cusco they hold the,
fair of the Saints, “Santurantikuy,” (a Quecha word that literally translates
as “Saint’s Market”). One of the largest Christmas fairs in South America, and
the largest in Peru, it features artwork and crafts that are distinct to the
Cusco region, as well as other parts of Peru.
A main feature is religious art and crafts, especially pieces for the
huge nativities that people build in their homes. They have innumerable baby Jesus figurines
with dozens of stalls selling clothing to dress the figures, right down to
underwear and tiny shoes and socks. It was truly an amazing experience!

WOW. You weren't kidding with your descriptions. My personal favorite are the 'Welcome' dogs. Because who doesn't need a golden retriever in their nativity scene?
